Have a weird noise coming from tranny when I put it in neutral and let out the clutch. Pull the clutch back in and it goes away? amy suggestions? |

Is it a chattering sound? If so, I just went through this, clutch lever pulled -went away ... it could be a number of things, bad spring plate, worn friction discs, or warped discs - my problem was the latter - warped discs, this was apparently caused by the clutch overheating (heavy blue coloring on the steels) Could maybe do a clutch adjustment first and see where that leaves you, if it's still there you'll have to pop it all open and inspect the clutch for what I described above. |
