So this morning I walk out to my bike, turn the key on, flip the kill switch to run. No fuel pump sound. The light came on, but the fuel pump did nothing. I hit the starter switch, nothing. It didn't even try. The lights are on, the guages swept across the faces, but thats it. The solenoid does NOT chatter. I tried taking the kill switch apart and cleaning everything. That didn't seem to help. After sitting at home all day it acted like it was going to start at first (wait to start light came on, fuel pump cycled) but it did dothing when I hit the switch. After that first time when I came home, the start lamp does not come on anymore and the fuel pump does not cycle. Any ideas? (Message edited by indy_bueller on August 16, 2006) |

I fixed it. The ignition fuze was blown, but I also had to take all the fuzes out and clean the contacts. Word to the wise! |
