So, ive just finished my break in  What an amazing machine. love everything about it, except, at 5'4, I need to lower the 1.5 inches. So....I still have not been able to find out if the shock out of the SS will bolt right in? Does anyone know the answer to this? Blake also mentioned the possibility of grabbing a shorter stiffer spring to mount into the current shock to lower the rear...does anyone know where I can buy one of these? That would be great so that I can retain the dial in knob for on the fly adjustments....
Any help, or suggestion for the smartest way to lower this bike 1.5 inches would be so much help to me...
Bike is the perfect height when the wife in the one back Maybe Ill just fill the hard bags with sand to weigh the ass down

Order the 07 seat and see what happens! Cheaper and probably safer than messing with the suspension. |

Ive got the 07 Seat on the bike...its better than the 06, but I still cant touch down with both feet at the same time...
Gotta bring her down a little...

Hey, I just found out that I can have a custom shock custom built to my needs. Great news...now, the only think I need to find out is the length of the stock shock, from eye to eye. This way I can calculate the required length of the new shock!

Changing the height in the rear will change the angle of the frt end. You will have to lower the entire bike to get it to work at it's best. You simply cannot effectively change rear suspension setup without adversely effecting your handling. |
