So I was on my way to bike night in Toledo, OH and I was just about to meet up with D3r3k, and one of his neighbors that rides a Yamaha, when GOD decided that I did not need to go any further. I was going the speed limit, wearing my helemet, and gloves, but for some odd reason I though it would be a good idea not to wear my jacket when......... http://homepage.mac.com/derekcrandall/PhotoAlbum31.html http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/37/178679.html?1154590423 So GOD decided it was the right time for the above tree to drop off one of its dead limbs. I am not joking, I was riding along when I thought that Tree dropped on my head, but really it dropped so close in front of me that I had no time to react. I ended up going through part of the tree and laying it down on the right side. The frame is dented (even though I had frame pucks), the swing arm looks damaged, I lost the right side peg, rear brake lever bent, front brake lever broke off, left side turn signals gone, headers dented, looks like damage to front end suspension, and possibly damage to front wheel. I have no idea what else is damaged until I take in to the shop, but I have a bad feeling the Insurance is going to TOTAL it. For me I am banged up, but nothing is broken. I went to the hospital, and had them x-ray everything, and I am pretty scratched up. What a random act of GOD! Seriously I almost feel like I was struck by lightening or something, what are the chances that a tree is going to fall on you while your riding? More to come after I talk to my insurance agent! GOD LOVES YOU DUDE!!! most people might just be DEAD or hurting really bad. I am glad you live to get another ride in. Bikes can be fixed.. heck this gives you an oppertunity to get one of those S2's..lol just remember you can always ride B$%CH lol | ||
