i just put on my race pipe last night rode to the dealer this morning. 1 mile from my house. installed the 12r race ecm in the service drive. they wheeled it in and reset teh tps. bike wont run now for more than 3 seconds. they reinstalled the stock ecm and it fired right up the dealer in teh next town has another ecm and are doing a warranty dealer trade. heres whats weird about my computer. the box part # is 32620-03Y the computer said 32621-03Y kinda weird since that part number does not exsist. i hope this new computer works. they are driveing out to get it right now. any one have any input or experence with this happening? | ||

Yep, seen a few Race ECMs bad right out of the box. | ||

heres an update. got the bike back at 2 on saturday. the new computer worked perfectly. i only live 2 blocks from my delear. when i left i turned right on the street to go home on. i usually cruise at 1500-2000 when leavign and jam off since im right in front of the dealer. well stock it would maybe pull the front off like an inch. well this time leaving to my supprise the front power wheelied all the way threw first. then i jamed second and powered half way threw second! what a huge difference this race kit made on my R. and im still missing my race airfilter. still have the stock one in it. but wow! more than satisfied for now...... haha |
