Anyone interested in a ride to Baltimore, MD for the Buell Demo Truck? Some of the BRAG group from Frederick is planning on meeting at Battlefield HD, in Gettysburg, PA around 10:00 this Saturday, having breakfast/brunch then on to Baltimore for the Demo Days. Not sure of the return route? |

Stingaroo, The little woman had to have surgury, she is doing well, almost ready to get back on her bike. We've postponed the trip until August 12th thru the 27th. Maybe this will work out better for you. We may be coming through your way, our route still isn't in stone yet, we'll be going through Deals gap on the way up, so we may be coming through Gettysburg to get up to the WilkesBarre area. After that it's on up to NH and upstate NY to visit family. I'll ping ya as the date gets close. |

Toona, remember the high speed wobble you noticed and I was complaining about? I'm a stupid %$$. The old saying must have slipped my mind (RTFM). The bike was set at 150lbs rider weight. I tweaked it as the manual says and high speed wobble is all but gone. I went a little high on the weight 230-260 and she rides like a dream up to 110-115, then the wobble comes back but not nearly as bad. The back wheel likes to break loose now though. Marlinrider, I tried talking to Battlefield with no luck, gonna try some guys in Jersey before the ride to the F1 race in Indy next week. |

XB12, did you also check your tire air pressure? Mine front was down 10# even though I had checked it about 5 days previous. There is a post on the DC/MD Storm front for a tentative date of July 15 for "The Reservoir Ride". I need to check my schedule at the shop on Thurs to confirm. I haven't run the complete route at one time, but I am guessing that "The Res Ride" would be around 100 miles round trip. We ran the "upper loop" and it was around 60 miles by itself. The Upper Loop is a 90% fresh pavement 70-80 mph sweepers (with the way that Ras rides, more like 90-100 ), not many technical curves. The other parts of the ride, near the reservoirs, are the technical turns. I will try to do a complete lap early next week. |

I just realized that the date of July 15th for the Res ride is not good as its the same day we're renewing our wedding vows! How could I've possibly forgotten that? We definitely need to reschedule that ride. Dan please get a hold of me to talk about the Res ride. BTW Dan, do you still have the Valencia Orange parts for your bike? I need to replace mine. -Ras |

Any Buell riders near Collegeville? I am sure there must be some in the area. I am not currently riding a Buell but actively interested and would really like to talk to some experienced owners. |

Hey Steveford, I try to get up that way once in a while. I used to live over in Blairstown while working for the Appalatian mountain club. Hope to get a ride up there soon if it ever stops raining. Illyhaskel, I don't get that way much but I'm definately looking for some people to hook up with for some rides. |

Provided the weather holds out - Anyone interested in a ride to Buell Corners this Saturday, July 1st? Buell Corners is located just outside of Titusville, NW corner of PA. Planned route is leaving Altoona circa 9:00 a.m., up route 36 to Buell Corners. Yes, it is a real place, who'd a thunk it!

Hey Toona, are you doing the AMA "Made in America" Grand Tour? If so, there are several towns from the list in that area. As far as places to go, Drake Well (First Oil Well in the World) in Titusville is nice, www.titusvillepa.com/tourism.htm The Kinzu Dam and associated overlooks and very scenic The Allegheny National Forest has great roads, http://www.fs.fed.us/r9/forests/allegheny/ |

Hello all, just wanted to log on and say Hi. I am picking up my 2nd Ulysses tomorrow morning at Gatto in New Ken. I bought my 1st one on 5/6/06 and got run over by a 19 year old girl in a Range Rover, blew thru the red light, on 5/11/06 on my way to work. So, my Buell experience lasted just a bit over 200 miles. However, the neck collar is off and I am ready to ride again. Always up for riding, whether it is local or several states away. Traded my aprilia in for the Buell, love those V-twins. I have had a succession of HD's since I was a kid and have been riding dirt bikes forever. So, if anyone wants to go riding, street or dirt, let me know. Take care all, Alan |

Ras, check out this thread http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/4062/209685.html?1151675235 Change in plans, Mike and I are going to meet up w/ Alanshouse at the HD dealer in State College. Depending on Alan schedule (and the guys he's riding with) we may do the Res Ride after the show/lunch. We could leave my shop at 11-11:30 and get to the show in plenty of time (only a 40 minute ride), plus that wouldn't push your time from Fred, MD. LMK, I left a message on your phone. Dan |
