Two weeks before, on the 22th and 23rd of July, the German IDM Superbike class took place in Salzburg. During the 9th and 10th run of the German IDM Superbike class, Wilbers rider Christian Kellner was back after his accident in the last race and did win some championship points even when it was not possible for him to win back the lead. In Salzburg this time both races were won by Honda drivers. The first race was won by Michael Schulten from Austria and the second one by Martin Bower who, at the same time, won the lead in the championship.
