Hey yall, Anyone hearing a weird vib at 35-4000 rpms? I've got about 25k on the bike and was trying to narrow it down to internal wear or just something coming loose. sounds like something metal is loose but I can't figure out what it is. If you guys read my last thread a while ago, my oil filter came loose while I was on the freeway and I didn't notice it until my oil light came on, I got the bike towed home and found that it lost about a quart of oil during the ride, I just hope it didn't prematurely wear anything on the inside... I started noticing the vib after this episode, but I also had to take the muffler off to clean all the oil off, hopefully I just left something loose. I just would like to know what it could be if its internal so I can replace it. thanks |

Have you checked your primary chain adjustment lately? That's one possibility. |

I would look at your front eng. mount. Mine is being changed right now for the same thing. My vibe starts at 4500 and goes up. |

Mine (Uly) gets some vibration on that range (4 - 5 k RPMS) on the right side of the frame, at the knee height. The funny thing is that it mostly happens when the tank is full. Anyone experienced this? |
