Hi everyone

I've recently picked up a 2003 Firebolt that's in some need of repair. I'm in the process of pulling the engine, but can't seem to get the bolt in the swingarm pivot to come all the way out. It will slide about six inches out and then it seems the end is too large to pull all the way out.

I've looked in the service manual and I didn't see anything mentioned other than 'remove the pivot bolt'....lol

Could someone shed some light on this for me?

Thanks very much,

Blake M

Sorry...guess this is the wrong forum. I've moved it to the 'Knowledge Vault'

It can be a pain to get that bolt out if there is ANY bind on it. A little patience goes a long way.
