Galen, you will make a great counselor. You have a good heart, a lot of empathy, and you like people. And maybe a little "been there, done that" experience helps too. |

Firemanjim, I have the chain conversion on the bike, but it seems like going through a rear sprocket and chain in 3k along with the cost of a new set of tires is to much. I was thinking of going to a belt drive. I have never ran with a belt on anything in my life, untill I test rode some buells. Do you get more miles and life out of the sprockets running belt? Or are they called pulleys? Im lost....lol... I have the front that came on the 99 motor install in my bike now, but that's all I got for a belt setup. What do you think about it? Also going to bag the 208's for something else also. I hear great things about the Qualifier, but they seem awful expensive compared to say the pilot powers or M1's |

Just want to request that if you are going to be attending SPLASH this year please go to the SPLASH site and let it be known. I am trying to get a list together so that we can determine how many will be at the BBQ on Friday, and to be sure we have enough maps on Saturday. So please post and let me know. 19 days! |

Well,I have certainly gotten way more from my bikes and belts, but I am not prone to wheelies with the clutch and strive to be smooth in all my running.YMMV. Unfortunately I have no spare pulleys or belts but will check around. |

since I only have 19 days till splash I would be happy with just a rear 520 sprocket that will fit on a PM wheel. Got any of those laying around....lol |

Had a chance to ride a Triumph 675 this past weekend. Very cool. 235 kilowackers without even breathing hard. Handles like a dream. Nice intake sound but needs a little more sound out the back end....not like me. Can't wait. See ya soon. Harv |

I've been meaning to do this for a while.... For those of you who don't know, my wife and I have finally moved off our boat which was home for eleven years. We now live in a great little house in Suquamish Washington. I want to extend an open inviataion to all my biker friends, those I've met and those I haven't met, to drop by on any weekend. It's a great destination for a ride, and there is an awesome pizza place just a block down the road. Come by and hang out, but call or email first to make sure I'm home. See y'all at Splash. Paul |

Hey all, Now that I have my bike back together looking for some Eastern WA Buellers to ride around with and show me the roads out here. On another note my bike was named by the members of my MSF Rider Coach course and is now known as The Scalded Dog. Due to it looking like a dog with its tail between its legs and running like a bat out of hell. Hope to see you on the road. Josh "Fuy" |

Thanks Ray2k! I saw the other day you decided to harvest your dandylion crop! Just working to get my ducks in a row for school this fall. With any luck my student loan will be approved and I will have a job thats in high demand plus have the credential that will not have me constantly at the mercy of fools and out of work! How did you know I used to have a Citroen. Most coolest car ever owned by me. From the round break button to it lifting its foot if it needed a tire change, simply awesome. Hey Betty is back setting of car alarms, lets go for a putt! sooner, Galen |

Eric that was an epic journey. I'm ready for next year although I'll be putting on a little more sun screen next time. I had such a good time I would like to continue by possibly attending the salt flats in September. I was rained out in 2003 and I have not gone back since. Anyone interested give me a shout. Mike |

Well all, I broke down and bought my new bike this weekend. A Sunset Orange XB12SS. I just broke my 50 mile mark and I'm looking for a couple slower but fun rides to do in the Eastern WA area. Something I can spend some miles on and help break in the engine right. Redhat, if your still on here give me a call tomorrow. I'll pm you the number. Josh |
