Had an old roomate key the top of my airbox out of spite....now I am considering taking it and modifying it to an open airbox. Any suggestions or pics of good designs? I have seen a few in Europe that have mesh grills and low profile openings....thanks to everyone who lends any help!!!! | ||

am i missing something here.......line-x is a spray on truck bed liner. How would that help with an open airbox design??? | ||

He meant for you to have it line-x'd to cover teh scratches. If you wanted to keep it in one piece, I have buffed out some pretty deep scratches in my black plastics using the complete Novus kit, going from stage 3 to 1 then using a good polish/wax. | ||

Unless he really gouged it deep the plastics on your Buell can be buffed out pretty easily because the color goes all the way through it. Do you have pics of the damage? If you do we might be able to help with patterns that would help hide the damage, or assess the ability to polish it out. | ||
