My good friend Keith (Skully) put his XB9S on the podium yesterday at Oak Hill Raceway with AMA pro-racers Michael Sanchez, Ty Howard, and Tyler McDonald looking on in approval. Keith made a great start and never looked back as he shot from 11th on the grid to finish 2nd. Way to go bro! Big credit to his pit crew, especially the half that showed up at the last minute and pulled the whole effort together just in time. This was in the novice and expert combined ClubMan class too. The race was contested by twelve other riders with an RS250 GP bike mounted rider taking the win. Great work amigo! |

Keith: Any reports on Blake and Stephen changing tires? Don't accuse me of not knowing what questions to ask. That really is cool you did that . . . I'm totally digging seeing Buells racing and being well represented at a variety of levels. |

Well, I seems that the rider had completed all of the maintenance before he arrived at the track! That being said, though, Blake has done his share of helping me prep the bike in the past. You might ask Blake why his bike is not in any of the photos... Here is the DarkHorseMoto pit area in the exclusive Turn One section of Oak Hill Raceway known to the locals as "Laguna Blaka":
And here is a photo of my triumphant return!
Perhaps Blake will chime in with a bit of racing action commentary? Keith |

I almost forgot! Special thanks to Al Lighton, Steve Slaughter, and Dave Stueve. This weekend would not have been possible without these guys! Keith |

I suck at commentary and anyway, I was too shocked by your great start to be able to collect my thoughts. |

hey Keith, I meant you should put it up on your wall...show it off man! but since you're offering - that would be great to have a higher res version of it. I have a folder of cool racing pics that I use for my screen saver. That one would be a very welcome addition!! You can PM it to me or mail it to BDABuell@gmail.com Thanks!! Hey Luke, I purchased the belly pan from Dave Stueve. It was manufactured for Buell but by whom I don't know. If you get one, let me know. My first mounting system did not work out too well but the second one seems to be holding up just fine. Keith |

That is a Buell Racing bellypan. They sent a thing to the dealers recently saying limited qty of the few parts they have left. They are going to start selling xbrr parts in august though. |
