Gone but not forgotten. Besides it gives you the opportunity to sit back and enjoy the nuptials and the perks associated as the new models are released. Shall we say a soon on the horizon Misato 2007/8 reincarnation? (Message edited by bubabuell on July 06, 2006) |

where in California? You should hook up with a few people and ride it one last time before you give it away. I'd love to get a close look at all those shiny parts! (Message edited by pwnzor on July 06, 2006) |

Dude thats only a few miles away. If you're the kind that can drive straight thru and you leave at 3am you should arrive between 10pm and midnight. Ortega Highway is right in my backyard. Let me know if ya wanna hook up. |

I'll ride down with you, I'm sure Mrs. Al will keep the store open, but call them first to be sure. It will be hard for me to go there with no money (currently having legal issues) but I can afford gas and lunch and I can still turn a throttle! I'll pm you my phone number, and give me a holler when you get in. |

Thats perfect, just looked at the calendar and I have my friends son's 3yr b-day party in the afternoon so that will be good. Probably have ya come over to my house and leave from here. We can do Ortega Hwy, just about 3 miles from here. Costa Mesa to my house is about 20 minutes on the bike unless you take the toll road then its only like 10-15 minutes. |

yeah.. VF ok, so its 2 weeks out now at least. maybe 3. One of his crew had a heart attack and now he has to take the boat out and will be gone all weekend. I hate getting all ready for a trip like this and then have it fall apart at the last minute! when I do come down, I want to still go for a ride.. maybe I can get a little more time off too. hmm, isn't laguna the weekend of the 20th? where the hell is that anyway? |

yeah don't confuse Laguna Seca with Laguna Beach! They're hundreds of miles apart and I have to be in court that week so I can't go to the races. But I can still do a saturday ride, provided they don't throw me in the hoosegow. |

Wow this is a sad thread! Misato I feel for ya, I really didn't want to give up my last bike, but if I didn't I probably wouldn't have the Buell I love today! Granted I'm only 22 and on my second bike, but it's always hard. Stick in there man, like Indy_Bueller said you'll be back to Buellin' in no time. Sam |

Pwnzor, I also juggle although not as avidly as I once did. Also was a world class footbag player. Way back when I actually got paid for playing lol. Just turned 41 the other day, fell off a rock at the creek (and down the side of a hill) did an awesome tuck and roll, still woke up sore the next day. Brain is like a kid, body has been broken many times and I notice. Sigh........... At least you have a kid who will take care of you when you are old. I am going to have to rely on young girlfriends, sigh............ Do you ever ride the Crest? |

Hey Misato Tim, long time no talk! Is the first photo in this thread the one I took of your XB9S at DHD? Looks awfully familiar! Why did you sell it? I sold my Harley Electra-Hog last month and fell in love again with my XB9S. A better bike I've never ridden. Anyway, good luck with your road trip and what lies ahead. Prof |
