i know its a LOT to ask. and i'm more than willing to cover any possible damage inflicted. is there anyone with a track-prepped buell XB that i could borrow for road atlanta july 3rd? schwantz school has a rental fleet of suzukis, but they're all booked let me know D | ||

That IS a lot to ask. What is it that they say, "Never let your friend ride your bike at the track...if they trash it you will loose your bike and then you will loose your friend." But good luck! Maybe you should frame it as, "Who would like to sponsor me?". Jimidee | ||

never mind, punctured a lung today when hit from behind and launched over the bike during a race. probably wont be in riding shape by the end of the month  thx anyway, D | ||

DB- she's a tough racer, was doin good. Expert rider came from behind and tangled up. Another rider of our group also mending from a get off. Otherwise good weekend for Buell racers in our pit area- 1-1st,4or5 2nd's,3rd's,4th, 5th, and several more, I couldn't keep up with them all! | ||

bah! today's the day i would've been on rental suzuki SV650 (yes, of course, one of their rentals cancelled and it was available for me to rent) at road atlanta with the schwantz school  instead, i went to work, came home, took a nap, walked the dog, and watched fireworks over lake michigan (ok the last bit was fun) but NONE of it was as fun as tearing it up at road atlanta woulda been.... getting better, D | ||

Dora,you must be feeling better to rant like that.Glad to hear it.Soon enough you will be back on the track.Sounds like a nice day.I got to be at work--until thurs.  But on a more positive note,I have all the parts back to re-assemble my racebike,just set ring end gap last night. |
