Well I love the way my XB9R handles and rides. The only thing is that I'm kinda short at 5'6" and I have to rest on my tiptoes when I stop. It's really difficult to back up the bike while on it. I usually just walk it into position while off the bike. I was curious if anyone has lowered theirs and what side effect it had as far as handling. If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them. |

Call Daves for the parts list and your banker for the dough. |

I know Penske makes a rear shock that's height adjustable and has about 1,000 other adjustments on it as well, it's like 600 for the street version and 800-900 for the race one. I'm not sure if they make front forks but maybe you can use the "sl"/Low front forks on it? I'm thinking of the same thing eventually for my Ss. |

Find somebody with an XBSL and swap suspension...surely that would work, eh? |

for the 03 you wouldn't even need to change the lower triple. Forks, shock and kickstand would do the trick to convert to a low. |

Either, last year or the before DaveS had XB9R lowered for someone during one his promotions. If I remember correctly there were few pictures lots of details on line about this bike. As said before. Call DaveS, then call your bank. I really don't think would be that. |
