I'll be running my Racetect tires for the first time at the track on Saturday. I've been unable to find a recommended pressure anywhere on the web. Does anybody here have any suggestions? BTW....on a 1998 S1W (if that matters). |

I would usually start with 32 front/32 rear on the SV and usually got the 10% pressure increase as the tires warmed up. Depending on the track and ambient temp those starting pressures might go up or down a PSI or two. Worked well for me. Some run a bit less in the rear. I've read though, that with some new tire constructions that 10% rule may not hold anymore? Henrik |

Thanks Henrik! I actually found a link to Metzeler's tech email line. They told me to run a hot temp of between 34.5-36. I'll just back off the 10% and go from there. |

Cool - glad to get confirmation that I was in the ballpark. Thanks Henrik |
