I say we head to the "V", chat a bit and decide then whether anything is worthy of further discussion or decisions to warrant a meeting for next week. That's what I say. |

For those that might be interested, here is a link to a "Summary" slide show of our visit to Vegas and the Grand canyon. If the links do not work you may have to copy and paste them into the address bar. http://photoshow.comcast.net/watch/dk8Xp7DU If you would like to see more, go to the below and select "Vegas/Grand" and it will take you to all 14 slideshows( hey, I took over a thousand pictures). I would suggest: Las Vegas-Sunday Kayaking the Colorado River-Monday Antelope Canyon-Thursday http://photoshow.comcast.net/cdthatbme |

paintshaker, i live in hall county. there are endless windey roads, and the cost of living is fairly cheap. although it seems far out there, it is really close to everything. its growing fast, but not too fast. i really do think you would like it up here. |

Good a time as any to jump in....Bought an XB12X in Jan and having it serviced by Stone Mountain...figured that would semi qualify me to post here??? Paint_shaker I live in south Lumpkin county (Dahlonega), lived in Cumming for 3 years prior to moving here about 4 years ago. Take a look at this area as well.. if you have kids, schools are good (SATs were better than Forsyth county and the National Avg). There is a lot of building and expansion going on... including big commercial expansion (Home Depot etc) to help offset taxes. As for riding... you can be at TWO in 20 minutes (less if you really want to) from south Lumpkin county as well as many other very nice roads/twisties that are just north of this area. Anyway.. just my $.02 |

Welcome aboard, Gamdh! I wish I lived as close to the mountains as you. It would give me a shorter distance to tow my Cyclone every time it breaks down. I'm looking at getting a 12X pretty soon myself when my Cobra sells. |

Thanks.... The 12X is excellent!!! I sold my KTM 950 Adventure to get this bike. The 'Adventure Tourer' bikes are great for this area. There are tons of dirt roads, lots of twisties and lots of rough pavement. I can ride from south Lumpkin county to north of TWO and never see pavement. Uly handles rough pavement with ease... really fun when you are mid way through a corner and hit rough pavement..the suspension just eats it up. Plus it can corner as good as any bike... I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir, but really like the Uly and its do everything capabilities. You won't be disappointed when you get one. |

Here is the democratic decision for the 3%er Brag Meeting this month meeting. All votes have been counted and all CHADs are on the floor. Some will meet at SMHD/Buell for the ride down to the "V" as usual. We will have an impromtu meeting at the "v" and if any thing needs further discussion then we can do it next Thusday...if not then we will just meet next months on schedule. Everyone cool with that? If not then speak now or for ever hold your peace. I will be working a little late so me and Mrs. Sunshine will meet ya'll there in the cage. (bike has no wheels on it) |

Amen Dan. BS thanks for the heads up and reminder for the Zombie tix. The heads cleared out of crack since their last visit, maybe I'll remember to score some tix this time. Anyone headed to the Vortex tonight? |

Anyone headed to the Vortex tonight? Mrs. Glitch and my self will be going. Since I have to wait until she gets home to leave, we won't be stopping by SMHD&Buell, instead we'll head straight for the Vortex. I believe Mr.&Mrs.Black_sunshine will be doing the same. Smokescreen & MissBehavin, New12r & Brave_angel, will probably be meeting at the dealership. IIRC Not real sure of the others. |

Been slammed, haven't had a chance to get on the web lately. Been dealing with someone on E-bay thats been trying to scam me. Won the bid but didn't get the bike. Found another anyway, R6 it's being fix as A.S.A.P for Barber. I hope as many 3%er's show up for the track day. You don't have to have new tires, just 70'ish or so... Shelley and I are heading to the V' see ya'll there, ride safe. Gamdh, Congrats on the new bike and welcome to the web and the 3%er's riding club. |

It was so cool seeing everyone tonight. I don't think I have seen most you guys since MBIII. Sammy, Hope you get to feeling better. Charlie, I think it was your voice I heard behind me tonight and I wanted to say, "Thank You" for that vote of confidence. I truly appreciated it. S_B, I hugged ya hoping some of that will power will rub off on me, dude! To the Mrs's, nice to have you guys around tonight. Can't say much more. It was a great ride home and I seriously enjoyed the whole evening. |

Bambi, no sweat, I love how drunks think that they have the right to critisize a small mistake. Man it was a good night, until I was riding home and almost slid under a Mitsubishi that decided to turn right in front of Smokescreen, Lighnindave and I. I hit the binders hard, used the rear in a panic and the back end slid but I saved it, missed hitting her by inches!!!! All I will say is I am sure she pissed herself when I caught her. |

New12r, glad you are ok. That's the thing though that most squids don't get about not wearing gear. It isn't so much you as it is those dingelberrys out there that don't get the physics of riding. B_S, hope you know that even though we love teasing you, we really do think you do a bang up job. |
