What time? I may be able to talk the G/F into cruising down. I have some afternoon plans but I'd like to get some riding in this weekend. I also don't want to wander too far from home. I'm waiting for an oil leak to really blow on me. Just weeping right now. I'm waiting for Buell #2 to get back on the road before tearing apart Buell #1. I really need to start naming the bikes. |

Oh well, the slab won't be that bad. Hasn't rained since the last salting/sanding and I don't care for slippin' and a slidin' in the twisties just yet. Dyna...You ridin' the new and improved Wide Glide? |

Bill, nope no bike yet. Still have a little work to do. Gotta drag my ass outside in a short bit & pull the rear tire so I can go have it laced & then pull the fender for paint. Need to find the wires for the headlight alos so I can finish wiring the pig up. My goal is to be done in 2 weeks. Hopefully the rim will be done by then. |

This is the state she is in right now. Having a hell of a time bleeding the front brake too. Was a pain a couple years ago when I first switched to a braided brake line, but this time really has me flustered. Cant seem to get the master cylinder properly bled, air is hanging up in it & cant get shit for fluid into the caliper. Went out & bought a vacuum pump but still giving me a hassle. Will get it eventually...I hope &exp=f&moddt=37721.9257401389} |

lookin good, Dyna . . .can't wait to see it in person . . . . .smurf purple (grin) I'm thinking about buy a motion pro tool that forces fluid UP from the caliper, and for exactly the same reasons . . . . |

Dyna...When you get it done, let's trade pinks. I need a Hog to save face in Milwaukee and you need an X1 for Battletrax. |

I think forcing the fluid up would be a better way to go. I spent over an hr the other day & ended up getting nothing but a headache for my efforts. New master cylinder, new braided goodrich line & fittings & its being a bitch. I think I am going to detach the line off the cylinder & force fluid thru it down into the caliper & see where that leads me. I have bled brakes on care hundreds of times, & several bikes as well, and its only this bikes particular front setup that causes me fits. |

Bill- You're falling into the trap and going away from the light. It's an illusion. Turn around immediately and run!!! Keep on riding that X1. You described it to me a while back as the bike that you have alway wanted and just found(after a few modifications of course). |

10:00am!!! That may be a might early for my hangover I'm having a small wine dinner with some friends on Saturday night. I'll probably have that nasty red wine & scotch headache on Sunday. Nothing a little SuperTrapp rumble & engine vibration can't fix |

Blastin...Just messin' with Dyna. The X1 stays in the stable but I am considering an HD for social reasons. You know...Land of the Tiny Minds. LOL |

Mennis...take 4 aspirin and a quart of water before going to bed. Kills the hangover and dehydration before it kills you. LOL |

Jerry...forgot to ask if you are heading to HH on Sunday. If yes, perhaps we can ride together. Especially since I have to ride past your place to get to the freeway. CJM...if you can make it we can hook up with you along the way. |

Bill- Sunday is possible, let me check with the boss. We also could possibly pick up Mennis along the way off of Hwy 20. May I suggest taking Hwy 45 down through Union Grove and Bristol, IL. Then cutting over to 173 (Rosecrans Road) to get over to the Highland House. HWY 45 down that way is less traveled but the road should be in good condition. Still better than dodging trafic on 94. Jerry, Call me at work or email me. I'm looking for Koz's phone number. I had his cell # but I can't find it right now. I'd settle for his home or work number. Thanks Dennis |
