im no mechanic and in need of some help 1997 S1. will not idle you have to stay on throttle to keep running. a little smoke coming out air cleaner & sounds like air is either pushing or sucking from somewhere.

Give us some history and more detail on the bike.Might be as simple as idle jet adjustment or may be intake manifold seals leaking.
