I bought the bike used back in Feb and have been sorting it out(previous owner should not have been allowed near wrenches) and waiting for the weather to break. I had been riding a Kawi zr750 for the last 10 yrs and this is my first v-twin, and I will say I'm pleasantly suprised. Fun bike. |

Ah yes...I remember my first time like it was yesterday...and it still gives me the same stupid grin after a good ride. The S1 was the first and last true Lighting. Everything after kept the name but failed to fully capture the spirit. |

PhillyBlast: Riding the bike usually adds ten minutes to my commute. It just doesn't want to go the short route. Wonderful fun isn't it. God bless the guy that invented motorcycles! Ken: Great bike you've got there. Have fun with it.

Ray, my commutes usually only 20 minutes in city traffic- luckily i saw the cop before he saw me this morning new tires on order, so i'm abusing what's left of the old ones. |
