Hi... remember me? Retired old fart update. After 6 months of being retired and unemployed there has been a change. Today I walked out of a 3 hour meeting (including lunch) with the Vice President, Chief Operating Officer of Clarence M. Kelley & Associates, Inc. (A very large private investigation & security consulting firm here in KC) with a folder labeled "New hire". We had been talking since before I retired, and they had been waiting for a position appropriate to my experience. A couple of almost positions during that time, but they did not develop. I will be doing part time at first, then full time when they get some new services they will offer up & running. It sounds like at that time it will evolve into a pretty sweet position. I am not spending any money yet... but when it goes full time it should be a nice check for a broke down old man! Does anyone have any suggestions on what brand and model of rear tire is the all around best? Or even which ones to avoid. Thanks |

Avoid the Dunlop 207s for sure! I have the Conti Road Attacks on my bike, and I like them a lot. The rear has lasted just over 5K, and they were only $200 for the set from www.ridedirect.com . |

Kccyclone... I hit you with an email. Did you get it? You can call me at 816-935-1836 S1lightning... After planning to give my Honda CR-V to my son, my ex suddenly was against the idea and bought him a 1997 Grand Cherokee... and guess who had to come up with half the cash? So the wiring went on hold. Sorry to hear about you friend. That had to be a terrible way to go!!! Once the job goes full time I will have plenty of money to finish the shop. But probably no free time then. |

IT WAS A VERY NICE SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow, I love older drunk chicks! Even ones that get fingered by their old man so we all can see (was that out loud?). Well I have to say as the ride home sucked about as much as that chic in the long skirt is doing right now. LOL I was heading down 435 and all of the sudden the whole bike shuts down lights and motor. I was in the middle lane and cars all over, that got a lil scary for a sec or two. Once I got to pulled over and finished my fit of swearing and throwing stuff. It only took me about 15-20 mins to find the short in my ignition switch. Thank good for zip ties and black tape. It started right up and rode it the whole way home no problem. So this weekend I will be a maybe if I make it to the show with a bike. One of you almost got a call. Larry, I will be out for tomarrow unless you hear from me later in the night. |

Kccyclone... Something must be wrong with my email filters or something. The email must have evaporated, never got it! Call me (816-935-1836) or resend it to DASDUSM@aol.com, I will be around this weekend & most if not all next week during the day. I (they actually) have a bunch of licensing they have to do at CMKA before I can do any work. That will probably take most of this month. So, even though I have a job... I am still temporarily out of work. Lol SO... I should be easy to catch up with for a while yet. |

Who is the CityX that I saw last night headed East on 435 just before the triangle last night after work, and this morning before work headed South before the triangle? If it is nobody here we have a new Bueller out there somewhere that needs to be found and brainwashed by the KCLW. |

I have seen two more Buells in Gardner that belong to folks that I am fairly certain are lost sheep. I think we may need to have some business cards made. |
