Races in California to see this year.... AHRMA vintage bikes this weekend at Willow Springs and Aug. 16-18 at Buttonwillow. THE SACRAMENTO MILE May 18th. Already have tickets. Semi - bucket list was to see a mile race. World Superbike / MotoAmerica at the BEST race track Laguna Seca July 12-14. WERA races at Willow Springs 7/29-30 and 11/9-11. Buttonwillow at 7/20-21 And will try to make Fontana 6/2 and 9/22. MotoAmerica will be up at Sears Point ( yeah know that's not it's sponsored name ) Aug. 10-11 but every time I go up there my allergies kill me, and I'm already at a 12 on a 1 -10 scale this year. Saw AFM twice at Buttonwillow and they had some awesome racers out there for both events. |

The only Buell at AHRMA Willow Springs that I saw today. I didn't take very many pictures but the old bikes were cool like always. |

I am planning on going to the International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach next Saturday the 23rd. I'll be wearing a Buell shirt walking by the Harley display shaking my head. |

Yep I was at the Long Beach show as well. I liked what Harley was doing with the E-Bike but couldn't believe that they expect to sell any at $30,000!!!!! I didn't really like the new Harley streetfighter and adventure bike but I guess they cant make the same sportster rip-off forever. |

Looking back at 2019 races I saw, the best by far was the Sacramento Mile flat track races. Not even close, and I love road race tracks. Hope to see AFM back at Buttonwillow again along with some WERA events that I can see in SoCal. I have a hotel reservation for the MotoAmerica event at Laguna Seca but I think this newly appointed management "DickHead" bought his way through the council members and I might just pass on this event. I still love motorcycle riding and hope to see friends out there on the road. |

Went up and saw the MotoAmerica races at Laguna Seca despite being sicker than a dog. The best race was the Hooligan class. The most embarrassing race was the Baggar class. Half of the crowd in turn 4 stood up and cheered the Harley 1-3 finish and then promply left the stands. There were no food or drink venues in the infield, especially by turn 4 stands so if you wanted to get a bottle of water you had to go all the way to the pits before finding your seats. |

Ha Sounds like a fun day at Laguna Seca. Waiting for my XB to be up and running (by Cafe's Customs in Temecula, who specializes in Buells if anyone needs a tune up or fix) and then hoping to do some track days in the fall. Id be scared to do the downhill turn 8 there!! |
