Does anyone know of a good place to get fork seals, dust seals, and guide bushings for my 2003 xb9r. I need to replace fork seals and was trying to find the best deal. Any aftermarket online stores, or is it best to go to the Harley dealer? Also what is the best all around weight of fork oil to use? Thanks | ||

Hey Darryl, You should come out and ride with us when you get a chance. Hopefully you'll be able to make some weekend rides this summer. I also so a post you made about the Jardine being to quiet on the XB board. I can tell you that it is louder than the Race kit. It is a higher maint. pipe though because you have to repack it. Give it some thought if you are interested in trading that guy your race can. I think the race can is the most quiet pipe out there. | ||

Kandie, We would be delighted to have you. I'll start making the arrangements.... Gentleman, we are having guests on July 28 or 29 as Kandie's calendar is off by a day, set this evening aside for the requisite festivities. Paul, we will be having a Buell get together at the house in the next few weeks. I'm sure somebody will tell you where it's at. I am still trying to get everything in order, for guest accomodations, however there is plenty of room on the lawn for tents as long as nobody minds midnight flybys and strafing runs by the fifty's. beer cans thrown from the hot tub down at the lawn squatters will also be a hazard they will face. happy camping. later | ||

Well looks like we will be having some fun over the next few weeks. Sam, I am looking forward to some at your place as well, need to sit around bs in the hot tub sometime. Darryl, Welcome to the fold, you will enjoy riding and guys they have been nothing but great. I noticed the screenname, so when did you get out of the Marines? I am a Marine as well and there are a few others running around here as well. I will look forward to meeting some weekend soon. As a matter of fact several of us will be at the HoaME bike show this weekend, on sunday. I think I will be rolling the POS up there to see how well I do (I have got A LOT of detailing to do). FYI, It looks like we are going to have another party on the 3rd of July. This should be more fun I get to blow stuff up!!!!!!!! Details to follow. Anyone heading to Fuell thursday? COUNT ME IN!!!! I was tearing up the new neighborhood last night. all is well with the fifty once again....six months is a long time to go without crashing. My nearest neighbor has a wee bit of road rash to boot! Larry I may have a line on a "real" scooter for my next trick.... we'll find out tonight. And for the rest of you, the Buell powered riding lawn mower is back on the workbench progress sheet...I had a Honda 200 four wheeler delivered this weekend for front suspension donor parts. now the fun begins.
