Is the Firebolt or the Lightning clutch cable longer?

Firebolt cable is longer than Lightning cable. On the Lightning the cable runs up behind the fly screen, on the Firebolt the cable runs out in front of the fork tube.

If you need an exact measurement of a Firebolt cable let me know I can measure for you as I have an extra.

If you would be so kind, I would very much like to know the length of a Firebolt clutch cable.
The Lightning cable I have is a bit tight for my Laverda Clubman bars.

Uhm...actually, the Lightning cable is longer then the Firebolt cable. The difference is due to the extra height for the bars. It also happens the be the same length as the S1 cable.

Can someone verify this, Measure your Lightning cable and post the results?

I have the LSL superbike bars on my Firebolt and need a longer cable. Al from American Sportbike measured the cables and said the Lightning was longer than the Firebolt and if I wanted to get a longer cable I would have to go custom.

I tend to believe this based on the routing path but I have not verified for myself.

While we're at it anyone want to measure a Uly clutch cable?

50/54.5 rough measured (I didn't pull it taught so may be a hair longer) using capts drawing put the numbers where they match.

Firebolt cable is shorter by about 3.25" inches, I just measured them.
