Well I swung by the swap meet. Here are the highlights. There was a lot of rusty and scratched up chrome, and a lot of guys sitting around drinking beer. Yup, that pretty much sums it up. Although I did see a T-shirt I thought was kinda funny... L.A.P.D. We treat everyone like a King So Dyna, if you can't give away your X1, feel free to drop it off at my house. |

>>>A buell is not an old mans bike!! Good news...we've known that since Alison Shaw (Atlanta resident from Great Britain) started the FIRST B.R.A.G. club 7 years ago at Earl Smalls. It was confirmed when several of the magazines did articles on "Women Buell Riders". Welcome aboard . . . you are going to find women, including World Land Speed Record holders on the TEAM ELVES team, well represented. Court |

So Dyna, if you can't give away your X1, feel free to drop it off at my house. No problem Koz, & you can drop a check for the $8,000 I still on that bitch in my mailbox. Or I will just pick it up from you tomorrow at the meeting |

Koz...Hold out until November and then make another offer. Hey, if nothing else, it will make a great coffee table if you get it scrunched at the local junk yard. Sorry Dyna, I just could not resist. LOL See y'all at Hal's tomorrow night. |

$8000??? I thought the term give meant "give" not "in exchange for". Even so,you are the one who said they are so cheap... I paid less then that for my brand new M2 last year (and that still runs) Sorry, I couldn't resist... See you all at the meeting tomorrow! |

Dyna, I only paid $9999.00 Canadian for the S1, brand new off the floor. When I bought it I had the choice of the Orange M2 or the Billet Metallic S1. I chose wisely. I have seen non-current tube frame bikes at the dealers here in Canada ranging from $10,000.00 - $13,000.00 Canadian (some more and some less) and are anywhere from X1s, M2s and S3/Ts. |

When I..or I should say when the wife bought the X1 they were $10,500. Wish she woulda bought the damn M2 instead, dont hear about those bikes having all the issues the POS X1 does. Plus it was about $1500 cheaper. |

Hey All...I may not be able to make tonights Brew City meeting. It would be greatly appreciated if someone would ask around if the young fellow (Koz, you know who I am talking about) whose brother does the Faux Carbon Fiber painting is there and get his name and address for me. Actually, it is for Donsieg at Uke's. Thanks a million! |

Hey Guys, For anyone interested in Two Wheel Tuesdays, last I heard, it will be held at the new 15,000 sq ft "retro" style Culver's restaurant on 124th & Freerick St, kitty corner from Solid Gold McDonalds between Capitol Dr. and Burleigh. However, they may not be open until Mid May and TWT starts April 15, so until the parking lot is complete they suggest using the side street (Freerick), so it might be a hassle at first. CJM |

Freerick st Heh heh heh, right down the street from the motor plant. Guess the participants got too many tickets on hwy-100 and had to move again. Anyway, what happened in the meeting last night? Any plans? Any changes? Any news? (Just curious.) |

You mean that Dyna and Dennis didn't even arm wrestle or nothin'?!? I've gotta get my bike back out fairly soon. Gotta practice. Figure I have to get at least 1000 miles on before the first weekend in June if'n I'm goin' to do any good at all, and I'll be loosing a few weekends between then and now as well, not to mention the crapsnowla that dumped on us the last few days. ===== Jerry, I found the spare fender for the trailer and have it in the back of the car. Will/can drop it off sometime if you like. Should I wait until you're home, or would you like me to just set it along the side of the garage? You'll have to drill/punch two new holes just like I did to remount the other fender. I remember I was looking for something else, but I forget what it was, but I'll remember what it was when I find it. If the weather cooperates I'll have the S2 back together and out on Friday and can strap the fender on and drop it off then if you want. =====
