Anyone have a radar mounted to theyre xbs? I am looking into mounting one for trips. But I would rather build something myself, than shell out alot of cash for one unless I have too. Any ideas or pics I would appreciate em.

Thanks

If you are using bar end mirrors, you could fabricate a simple plate mount off of the old mirror location. The thread is a metric 10-1.25, I found my bolt at Lowe's after looking at 3 other hardware stores. I will post a pic tomorrow, I used this set up for my XM radio mount.

threads are 10mm-1.25mm

That is a fine thread. the standard 10mm thread is a 1.50mm pitch.

I just used the windshield suction cup mounts on my 12r. It sits just above the dash, works well and isnt very noticeable.

Go with the Ram mounts. I use one for my gps and it works great, can go from bike to car easily!
