Does anyone have pics of the 4 piece Magnesium stripe body kit offered by Buell? The catalog and web page do not show it well.
Do you have to clear coat it as well?

Save yourself some $$$$$ and stripe it yourself ! I did it for $12.00,looks good and about $500.00 cheaper.

There was a pretty good pic in a recent FUELL magazine - maybe 2-3 issues back.

How close is your homemade job to the kit just so I have an idea? Mine is red so I can't do it myself.

No clear coat needed? The description says
"Clear coat to seal". Does that mean they striped it and then cleared it or I have to.

I bought a roll of silver rally stripe ($12) from Advance Auto and cut it down with a razor blade to match the factory set. Used a hair dryer for heat to make the stripes adhere to the curved body work smoothly.

It came out pretty good and my wallet didnt get hurt.
