Electrical problem resulting in loss of spark was reported by Anonymous on the race forum. No driveline problems on either bike. |

Did anyone else see the new Buell post on Superbike Planet today? It's pretty funny, no? |

This thread should also be re-titled and your post should be edited in courtesy of people that are taping the race because they are at work. Hate to spoil the endings. |

For those who don't want to know results, I have a suggestion............. Don't cruise motorcycle websites until you've seen the race. |

But this isn't the Race forum either. Just be courteous to other people, what's wrong with that? |

Nothing is wrong with that. The race took place on Saturday. If you really don't want to know the results until Tuesday, I would think you'd probably stay clear of this site and others like it. Just my humble opinion. |

"For those who don't want to know results, I have a suggestion............. Don't cruise motorcycle websites until you've seen the race." Be courteous... Don't post results in the topic or the first FULL sentence. Some people browse using the "new posts" feature and will see the first sentence of a post. If one is specifically looking at new posts and for what they contain, they get blind sided by the info they didn't want. It's a generally accepted practice to try to hide race results from those that may accidentally stumble upon them. Suggesting that others just stay off the board in order to let YOU post in a reckless fashion is quite selfish... For those who don't want to know results, I have a suggestion... Ban those who repeatedly post race results without taking the proper warning steps. I understand that YOU haven't repeatedly done so... But your response indicates that you may. I generally just try to speak for myself, but I think it's reasonably safe to say that racing is an important subject here. So is respect. |

"I would think you'd probably stay clear of this site and others like it." There aren't many others like it... Just FYI. Go make a post like that at www.corner-carvers.com... |

Guys, lighten up! When I can easily see the results from a moto gp event online before it's broadcast on SPEED (NASCAR TV, still lucky they show any 2 wheel races-but I digress), I just don't look at any moto websites. I didn't post this topic anyway. It's amazing how easily some get ruffled. P.S. You don't know me, so please don't talk to me about respect. This is a Motorcycle forum and I was just having some fun with an OPINION of mine. With all due Respect. Respectfully yours........... |

Which is great , but it's nice to have a safe place to go w/o needing to worry about what you may accidentally see . This is such a place. |

I agree post what you want read what you want if someone posts it up don't read it. I am starting to think Mcwilliams is cursed on a Buell. I am not even going to watch the race. |

I'm not saying to not post dude... I'm saying that when you DO... be considerate of the fact that others use a different mechanism to browse the site and will see both the topic AND the first sixty or so characters is all. It's just the "nice" thing to do. It's considerate. It's the way to be. It's courteous. If you don't agree... Well... |

Here is a hint. The 2 Buells are not on the podium at race end. Who won the Superbowl? I have it on my DVR but I haven't watched it yet. |

Like DaveS said over in the race forum, this isn't just a Buell problem with race bikes breaking down. Valentino Rossi's Yamaha broke down over the weekend costing him the race in MotoGP. |

Yeah, they showed the onboard camera on Vali's bike and you could hear where the engine just quit. Vali was crushed, it was obvious. Even though McWilliams was not in the lead and merely fighting for 7th position with other privateers, he still must have been very disappointed again. The fact that Vali had electrical problems too probably doesn't make McWilliams feel any better though. I hope he and Warr's do not get discouraged and quit. jimidan |

I'd love to see them give it another go at Road America during homecoming! Could home field advantage be a factor? I hope so! Come on Jeremy, 1 more time for us die hard Buell nuts! We'll be out there in FORCE at this one! |

slightly off subject. What happened to Hals Mike C? Did he quit racing or is racing another brand in a different event? I think Jeremy's knowledge base will more Buell racing light years ahead, if they can give him a reliable bike. |

I just hope they can ingrain the "win a race on an XBRR" bug into McWilliams's head . |

I'm looking forward to what the 'old timer' can do on these beasts given his experience level. Let's go BUELL!! |

Jeremy McW is also testing the new BMW Moto GP bike this year, and according to this week's MCN the bike is ready to race maybe as soon as the Sachsenring round next month. No confirmation from BMW on if this will happen or who the rider will be, but it looks like Jeremy may be very busy for the rest of the year |

Jimidee, I know Jeremy, and I can guarantee he is disappointed, but in no way is ready to quit. He rode for KR and for Aprilia MotoGP, so he knows the battle, and has experienced the highs and lows many times. He also loves the XBRR and the Buell philosophy. I'm betting you will see him again. |
