Bill, You needed more than that brass piece? I know I have those laying around, man. That is a sweet ass S1 Mine doesn't look that cool. It's really subtle since that's about all thats been done to it cosmetically. Went about 100 miles on it friday night. The last 40 miles were cold as hell. I still had a shit eating grin on my face though I'm ready for the gap any takers? I had a friend from New Orleans tell me that they are having some sort of bike rally in N. Carolina in June as well. Gonna check on that soon. It would be an excuse to hit the cherhalla (however you spell it :P) skyway, heehee.

I thought I had posted this here before...If not, well better late than never...This started as a MO-SIL HSTA/SLAB thing and is now HSTA national as it's being publicized as a "non AMA sanctioned" rally...As usual with anything SLAB/HSTA, it's open to all... We are going to slay the Dragon July 18 - 20 and would like to invite you to join us...The info follows... We can begin to make our reservations as follows: Deal's Gap Motorcycle Resort...1.800.889.5550...Closed for the season but you can sometimes catch them there doing their mail order processing...Mention that you're with HSTA...They have a very limited number of rooms (about 14) so...Well, you get the idea that if you want to stay at DGMR you'd better get on your horse... http://www.dealsgap.com/ Tapoco Lodge...1.800.822.5083...About a mile from DGMR south on 129...They are also closed for the season and you will be asked to leave your contact info...This is the place where we buy our BEER!...Also a limited number of rooms...They have a good restaurant on site that closes very early... http://www.tapocolodge.com/ Fontana Village Resort...1.800.849.2258...About 6 miles from DGMR on 28 and the "nicest" of the three...A pretty good restaurant is on site... http://seventhside.com/vhosts/fontanavillagecom/webpages/index.php Plans are to have a hotdog & chili cookout on Friday evening and BBQ Saturday evening at DGMR...Their "new" restaurant will probably not be ready in time for us...PLEASE CALL DGMR AND MAKE A RESERVATION FOR EACH DINNER... The funds will all be handled by the motels... See Ya! Bob |

See Ya! Bob |

Kyle at Central Harley Davidson/ Buell is putting together a list for the same. She is getting with Buell on every thing. You can call the dealership and ask for her. 913-422-3400. I have her email address but I need to clear it with her first before I post it. I am emailing her names and numbers I have collected. She is contacting them over the phone to get complete info and interest. They seem to be interested in doing this. She seems to be motivated. She knows Brian Nallin and Richard Nallin. She met them when her boy friend was drag racing. She is in the know. She doesn't know as much about Buells as some of us. The service manager is interested also. He is older but has nothing against them. Several of the mechanics are interested or intrigued with them. Frank has helped the dealer ship with them many times before they had Buell. He and one other mechanic have M2s. Lets see if we can help them make something of this. Come be apart of the only Kansas City Brag Chapter. She will set up a meeting when she gets name list and chapter info together. |
