The DealsGap trip is a go for the weekend of June 19th,20th and 21st. I reserved 2 campsites, each site will fit about 5-6 tents each. The rate was 15.00 per night. There are also plenty of rooms available at the Fontana Village Resort for 79.00 a night for a Double bed room. The phone number is 1-800-849-2258. Let's get ready to ride!!!! |

Dave, what is the estimated ride time at legal speeds (not that you would know) on Route 20 between Dubuque and Waterloo? Also, if you were a betting man, what would you predict the weather to be like during your big weekend events? |

Dubuque to Waterloo is 90 miles so you can do the math! It usually takes me about an hour and a half to get to Dubuque(honest!) Other than it being a boring ride you at least can't get lost. When you get to the Hwy 63 exit get off. If you are coming on Sat take a left at the bottom of the off ramp and as soon as you come out from under hwy 20 look to your right, there we are. If you are coming on Sunday go across Hwy 63 at the bottom of the off ramp onto Greyhound road. Look ahead, there we are at BattleTrax! As for weather, it's anyone's guess! Last year it was only about 45 degrees but we still ended up with 43 riders and about 100 spectators. I'm hoping for better conditions this April. Are you from Dubuque? Ride to the Edge!
