I've recently been considering upgrading my S1 master cylinder to a Ducati Monster or Triumph Sprint unit and need some help from the collective. For those wondering, the Ducati (Brembo) and Triumph (Nissan) units are the remote resivior types which look quite a bit nicer.

What I need to know is the master cylinder bore size for both the '97 S1 and the newer '98 S1W.

I think Buell changed master cylinders in '98 when they want to Nissan calipers.

Your help and any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks
FunJimmy

IIRC, 96 and 97 was 5/8" 98 and later is 1/2". HTH.
