I overheard a guy at deal's gap talking about another road in middle tennessee called the "Rattlesnake" he said it did not have as many curves as the dragon but it was close. Has any body ridden the "Rattlesnake." Do you know where it is? Was this guy full of it? |

My local HD shop had a demo day in March and they dubbed 232 "The Rattlesnake" and said that it was a baby Dragon. It is actually in western TN near Land Between the Lakes recreational area. If it is the same one it is a pretty nice road, but in no way compares to the dragon. It is 100+ turns in 11-14 miles. Come up and see us, there's also the Trace that runs the length of LBL, beautiful scenery and a decent road. burner |

I rode the trace on my WideGlide, back in '93 when I was stationed at Fort Campbell. Nice road and the scenery is beautiful. We used to go four-wheelin' and mountainbiking at Turkey Bay Off Road Park. Great place. I miss it. |

The Snake is west of Boone -- lots of development going on of late too. Black Snake is between Dallas and Denver, North Carolina that is, and it can be a lot of fun but is pretty heavily populated and you can't flog it,,,multiple blind driveway entrances, dogs, etc, etc, etc. G2 |
