Hey guys just wondering if theres a difference between the race air filter that buell supplys and the k&n filter. Have the race chip and buell air filter on order wondering if i should cancel and go for the k&n filter. Thanx! | ||

When I installed my race kit it was the K&N filter that was included with the kit. Personally I like the K&N filters. I use them for all my vehicles and I even use the K&N oil filter for the bike. | ||

For a long time both H-D and Buell used K&N as the source for their high performance filters. They no longer do and the new filters are cleanable, but don't use oil to help trap the fine particles. K&Ns are available as replacements for both the Buell Race and the H-D Screaming Eagle, on the Buell the K&N even cost less. ... Hope this helps. ... Terry |
