I think the R version uses H4 bulbs and the S uses H7? I believe XenonDepot sells a kit that could be used on our bikes. Is anything else needed besides what is included? Does anyone have any pics of an R with the HID installed. Is there any risk of melting anything with this? I think HID actually runs cooler than stock? If anyone has installed these, I would be very interested in your feedback. Thanks! |

The R uses H3 lights. I've blown about 200$ worth of silverstars |

My buddy had Silverstars in his car, and I was not impressed, so I installed PIAA's in my bike, and I was also not impressed. Not sure where I got H4 from, on some website it said 2004 XB12R was H3 and 2005 and up is H7...is that correct? Just wondering. If I got the HID kit from the aforementioned link, I would have to order H3, correct? |
