I've seen some of these for a decent price and was just wondering what people thought of them? Or should I just pony up the extra $60 and go for the crossroads?

I know this is all relative, but since its kind of hard to try without buying I figured I'd compile some opinions before dropping some cash.

I got the vortex, but I have them on a M2 with S2 forks so I am able to put them on top of the clamps.

I had Crossroads and went thru 2 pair.

A small lowside can really do a number on them.

And on the Vortex if you do all you have to do is buy another 7/8 tube from them or any suplier...

Woodcrafts and Vortex's won't fit the X1 with the stock tank, er they will but you won't be able to turn it in the driveway.

I had the same questions for my X1. I ended up getting a set of 4 way adjustable bars from Omars (www.omarsdtr.com). If you can't find them on the site, give them a call and get some info on them. They can be adjusted from a 2" rise to a 2" drop, are a little wider than the stock bars and clear the tank if adjusted properly.

Thanks BL. You wouldn't happen to have a pic of how they look on your bike would you?
