I know many of you run Diablo Corsa's especially for the track. I have a XB12R and am wondering what pressure you are running. I have heard anything from 32/36 f/r to 36/40 f/r.

IF the Pirelli guys are at the track - and I mean the Pirelli race tire guys - ask them suggested settings for the temperatures. The folks selling pirelli over the counter usually can't help you much.

For the Diablo Corsa, 30 front, 30 rear is a pretty good COLD pressure to start with.

You can drop the pressures a half psi for colder days. 32/36 is way too high - unless you like sliding!!!

I can look at my notebook to see what I had run but I started at 30/30

I'd seriously consider asking Josh Bryon at Tigershark Racing. http://www.tigersharkracing.com/

He supports the racers in the Western Region as our Pirelli race tire supplier. He races and sells Pirelli (he's the guy who races the Latus Buell XB) - and also Ducati and Suzuki.

He can give you VERY GOOD recommendations for starting pressures based on weight, track and temperatures.

He also has pretty good deals on Pirelli on the net (we buy direct at the track)

I typically use 31/33 for street riding on a hot summer day. 32/34 when it's a bit cooler.

I'd recommend LOWERING the pressures when it's colder.

You need to have the tire carcass flexing the same amount for a given temperature. When it's colder, the rubber is stiffer so you need slightly lower pressure to get the same amount of tire flex.

Absolutely! It's the old trade-off of traction v. tire life.

Pushing it hard through the corners v. riding for miles.

i do 30/30 cold at the track. i LOVE my diablo corsas - they've saved me from myself a few times : )
