"hey bartimus have you ever rode a chop?" As a matter of fact I have... I own a '67 XL, rigid frame, 10" over girder front end, suicide shift, kick start only. With Magneto! That's how they made choppers in the old days... |

LMAO.........cool,but if you had mangled knees....uhhhh you would never be able to get that chop off the kickstand with a 10 over front end and an all cast iron top end.why the suicide?didnt like the right side shift?(i just about kill myself everytime i ride and old xl or triumph...but damn its so much fun)what kinda rake is in the frame?you dont have one of the old cci death trap girders do ya?this is a must see....send pics and i will add it to my wall |

oh yeah bartimus i guess i should have added the reason for the LMAO is because i have a sore knee from kicking an old 75 xl with a bad spot on the kicker gear.and as much as i love my ol fx shovel I have to admit my thumb has never been sore from starting my s3.Gotta love old iron though |

Aomy, Sounds good! I'll give you a shout if I run into anything on the S2 if I can't figure it out! My home computer just died, so I need to replace it. But, I watch here every day during lunch. I often ride around the Springville/Gowanda area, and sometimes go through Jamestown when taking back roads to PA. |

I had a 60's era chopper with a '57 Flathead motor, kickstart only w/ mag. Talk about a POS to start!!! If I never own a kickstart-only bike again the rest of my life it won't bother me a bit It was a real beauty though and it was hilarious riding it up to the Harley dealership because NOONE knew what the heck the motor was! I'd stand to the side and listen to the "experts" telling each other stuff like "that's a jap bike motor there" |

Aaron, My 64 was known to launch people far heavier. The final straw was the day she popped off and the kicker arm split. |
