I can only say that I hope that my first real track experience goes better than my first "virtual"track experience. I picked up that new "Tourist Trophy" game for my PS2 yesterday and played it in Arcade mode for the first time, just to get acquainted with it real quick like. That game is a hoot! I'm not a big gamer. I just picked up this dang PS2 a few months ago, and it's the first gaming I've done since my days of Commodore 64 game pirating, I mean, playing, game playing. Anyhow, I was impressed with the graphics, the sounds..pretty cool. Over a hundred different bikes to choose from, including the Buell XB R and S in the 3 most popular colors. It was pretty cool. I thoroughly enjoyed hitting damn near everything on and around the track. I'm embarrassed to say that I got beat on a VERY twisty track, by a V-Max. It was pretty neat to see how differently the bikes handle in the sand vs the grass. It even allows you to fall over if you lean to far when going too slow! It is alot of fun though. It'll take some time to learn how to properly ride that virtual machine, but I can see that it should provide some riding relief on those rainy days, and party nites. |

I'm kinda bugged by TT. You can reverse the button assignments for the throttle (so Down is gas like in the real world), but you can't set it up to countersteer... |

I think you should be able to set it so that pushing up on the right stick steers right... Then use R2 for throttle and R1 for brake... L1 for clutch and L2 for brake... Anyway... |
