Bomber, What general meandering roundabout route will you be taking? I might try an intercept, maybe catch you all on film coming around a corner or something. If I could draw like Mann or Roth I'd capture the image I have in my head and wouldn't need any film. I'll probably be in West Bend that afternoon most likely but will try to head up to Appleton for a bit later. |

Mikej, that sounds like an excellent idea. I've got a couple of digital camcorders as well, could set up a camcorder. Setup some cool DVD of the entire weekend. |

wow -- there seems to be a completely erronious assumption of rationality on my part -- I mean, I KNOW R_T is showing up and all, and that DOES create some expectations (mostly for scotch), which will most certainly be met, but routes and times, at this point, are, as they say, dynamic ;-} Rippin -- I would imagine a tear-stained leave-taking from East Troy early afternoon (depends on how successfully someone is at reimnding Court to tell us) -- I'll have some suggested routes mapped out, with, if I'm on-the-ball, some copies -- you'd be welcome, of course, to come along Mike route to East Troy depends -- if we leave from Festung Bomber (AKA the Entropy Lab), like NW on Gilmer Road, up 12 to ES to A to H mumbloe mumble mumble to Elves-Land If, however, we go to the full moon (the almost acceptable replacement for the much lamented Highland House), nort on 41, slow to a crawl at the state line, 11 (I think) to Burlington mumblemumblemumble, mumble. Clear? me neither I spose I SHOULD get the Delormes out and at least give this some thought You'll all be glad to know, however, that the flask is already filled up ;-} |

I would expect nothing less, me usually heading off for a ride to where I usually find out once I've returned from said ride. If you end up near West Bend there's a short segment of twisty road on Paradise Drive with a SuperWalMart and the newly opened Texas RoadHouse restaurant/bar/pub just down the street. My Friday afternoon office is in an industrial park behind said WalMart. From there you'd have the option of heading up the indirect continuation of hwy-144 towards RoadAmerica, or highway41/45 towards Appleton, or any number of assorted roadways and Scenic Byways meandering the hills and dales and kettles and moraines along alternative routes. Basically I'm just throwing out the thought of hanging my head out the window of a flying Boeing 737 and trying to spit into a dumpster sitting behind an upscale restaurant 30,000 feet below . Chances: nill to none. Worth the effort: yep. Besides, it's still technically over a month away. Lots can happen in a month. |

June always catches us midwesterners a lil by surprise, yes? I mean, it was 37 degrees yesterday, fergoodnesssakes . . . when R_T asked what kinda gear to bring, weather-wise, I replied that he will likely need anything from jammies with feets in em and lectric sox to mesh wife-beaters and coldpacks . . .. . good thought, tho -- we could come by and bother the suits at your work ;-} |

I'll warn the ladies, it's usually fairly quiet there on a Friday afternoon. I think the temp range this week up here so far is highs one day near 70°, followed by near freezing the next, today supposed to be somewhere above 50° or so. |

You'll all be glad to know, however, that the flask is already filled up And I'm guessing that you are already partaking, judging by your mumble, mumble posts !! I'll be at the factory on Friday and riding with whoever will allow us along to Appleton to get there in time for the group pic that apparently Spidy and Ferris never get there on time for !! LOL CJ |

I seem to recall the last photo shoot I was at in Appleton and both Spidey and Ferris/Jerry were there. Time is relative (thereby knitting two threads together, relatively speaking). |

I got Paul, Vick and I booked in yesterday and the half-crazes Aussie....well, he is! We've talked on a daily basis...me may be outta control when he gets here. Start putting together your list of wicker questions and get those pink hats. I think a PINK hat would be a good thing to have at Homecoming....

See....I think the pink hats offer us a unique opportunity. They will show up, quite literally, like a sore thumb in the annual picture. I think it's a cool way to say we CARE about the Buell apparel and to perhaps get a bit more owner input in the process. I wouldn't think of not showing up at Homecoming without a PINK hat. Dave, has Paul ordered one yet? If not, he'll be sleeping on the streets of New York for a week. Court |

Thats a language I have never found need of till I started hanging around RT. I got this mental picture of people in Jail holding the bars all wearing Pink hats. Note to self stop listening to ACDC Jailbrake at 0615 am while working on the computer. |
