OK Sandblast....let's get this ball rolling!...Would you be availiable to host the southern ride to Palomar?I might have the chance of leading the ride from this end and having the Photo Equipment brought to the mountain by a Wonderful friend! If this works out I would start the ride from Knowlwoods(where our Buell meetings are held)around 8:00AM on Sunday , May the 7th and lead through Cooks Corner to Ortega Highway, brief stop for B-fast and hookups then down the mountain, slab it to Temecula, past Pechanga to Pala.Head up to Palomar from there and meet the rest of the Posse and Equipment truck.Set the Safety Rules , Agree on some locations ,lighting issue will determine most of these, and do the initial setup and print tests. Then start with single shots and when all are comfy with this maybe shoot some group shots on the wider corners. If your a knee dragger bring your pucks. Most of the good corners can be ridden quite slowly with smoothness and a good lean angle without much fuss so we'll use plenty of spotters to keep it safe.Hope we get a good turnout, tell your fellow riders.Scott , if you could talk to the Glendalers maybe we could entice some of that group out for the fun!Shoot me your ideas and let's play!!

Ebear, did you unload your V8-Porsche yet? No? Well, why not bring it to Knott's Berry Farm this Saturday & Sunday for the 27th Annual Handcrafted Auto Show (euphemism = kit cars)? I've seen Renegade V8-914 cars there before plus mid-engine V8 Corvairs. Fun stuff! I'll be exhibiting my extremely rare (I've been told) Corvair powered Manx SR. You probably don't even have to buy an entry. You could park inside in the support vehicle parking area adjacent to the show parking and tell them you're with me. |

I will gladly host the ride up there if you cant Eric, sorry it took so long to reply, I have been in Texas working. I'll take a look at maps but off the top of my head I can think of some interesting ways to get there from here, so if you can host the ride from OC I'll meet you in Temecula with anybody who comes from this way. If you cant then I'll ride to OC and grab everyone??? This will be great. |

I would like to attend the Palomar ride if at all possible. Is this definitely a go? I don't know any of the other So Cal area Bueller's except Al. Hopefully this would give me an opportunity to meet you all. Guess I just need to find out exactly how to get to Knowlwoods as I have never been there. |

So, who's going to Fontana this weekend? The wife and I will be there this Saturday for the FormulaXtreme race (I know, i know, no XBRR's). This will be our first time to CA Speedway - any tips/suggestions about parking, what to bring along for the day, a good time to get there (early morning?), etceteras. We'll both be riding there. Cheers -Jack |

John, probably better that we meet in Temecula rather than you riding all the way to Knowlwoods for the Palomar ride, its a kinda far and not very fun ride... Looks like most people will be at Fontana on Saturday? Leah and I can only go one day, so I guess it will be Saturday... then we can watch Moto GP on Sunday. We can meet you in Temecula if you want Al, or I'll call your cell when we get there? Jack you profile shot looks great- we need to be sure to meet up at the races, if you want I'll post my cell number. Cheers. |

Motorcycles and caffeine - what a combination. I'll try to be there, but it's my day off and I have to do something difficult like wake up first. See ya all sometime Saturday at the track. By the way, what's the parade lap record? |

I Think that was done by Ferris and I last year(?)....Of course the record is "HOW LONG you can STAY ON THE TRACK BEFORE THE GUY MAKES YOU GO".....AND THEN TRY TO APEX A CORNER WITHOUT SOME YAHOO ON A HARLEY BLOCKING YOUR WAY........OH YEAH...THANX BLAKE for the repair!!!Go ahead and take my number Brett and lets hook up when there! By the way , if you didn't see my post earlier the track is having promotion called "Suzuki Superbike Giveaway"...if you buy tickets for both days...$60.00...they throw in parade laps for both Saturday and Sunday!!! |

Talk about monthly meetings, can we change the day of the SCAB meetings from Thursday to some other day, say Tuesday? Myself, I have a conflict with another club meeting on 1st Thursdays. For everybody, there's usually less traffic on Tuesday afternoon/evenings than on Thursdays. Maybe a change would benefit everyone in some way? |

Shawn, I have no problem meeting in Temecula. I wont be able to make it to the races this weekend but I already have next Sunday set aside for the Palomar ride. I dont know that area to well so maybe we can meet somewhere that is fairly easy to find for the ride up to Knowlwood's. Let me know what is easiest for you and I will get it worked out. Thanks |

Adam/Kyle, I'm the director of the Southern California BRAG chapter associated with Biggs HD/Buell. If you send me your contact info (i.e. name, address, email address, phone, BRAG no. if you have one), I'll add you to the mail list and you'll get the emails I send out for local events. Send to alighton at adelphia dot net. Next weekend is the Palomar ride, but I'll be at muffler shootout in Iowa. |

Kyle, I am like you in that I a "somewhat" new to the San Diego area. Basically I have not met anyone to go consistently riding with on the weekends. I live roughly where the 8 and 15 freeways meet. There is a Palomar ride this coming Sunday. If your up for it we could meet up and then head to Temecula to meet up with Shawn (Sandblast) for the final trip up to Knowlwood's ( I have no idea where it is ). Let me know if your up for Sundays ride. John |

You San Diego guys don't want to go all the way to Knowlwoods. It's in Yorba Linda. Ebear indicated having breakfast on the Ortega Hwy, probably at Hell's Kitchen. That would be better for you, don't you think? |

Jack/Jeff, I'm in Long Beach too, near Pacific Blvd and Willow. I'd like to see about hooking up for the ride to Knowlwoods or we could just pick up with the rest at Hell's Kitchen. Knowlwoods is a little out of our way, but at least we get to add in Santiago Canyon and Live Oak Canyon. Those were my learning tracks when I moved to Cali in 200 and landed in Irvine. Otherwise it's the 5 freakin' freeway all the way to SJC. Let me know, Andrew 562-743-0111 |
