Ha anyone ever done a rear wheel alignment? Had a tire swapped out about 100 miles ago. Went out with a couple other Buells and they smoked me bad on 9s. Doesn't feel right. Took it up to about 100, and felt the rear wheel was swinging back and forth. I have heard other people talking about this on the front, but it never happened to my putt before, and it definitely felt like the ass end of the bike. If there is a procedure for it, I will get the service manual, and check it myself. No harm in checking. If I was a Buell certified wrench, I would seriously consider making a video, like FIx My Hog, Only for Buells. Would definitely make a world of difference for noobs like myself. Worth considering. Rear wheel should be in a fixed position on your s. If it's assembled properly and your bearings are good. |

No adjusters. Check the swingarm bushings. |

There have been a number of reports of the rear wheels being overtightened by owners or tyre fitters, which results in the inner spacer being crushed. This then leads to the wheel bearings collapsing!! Take the wheel out, remove a bearing and see what the spacer looks like. If it looks in any way damaged replace it. |

No manual = at present. I used to be a wrench on Aircraft. The bike is still under warranty, and the temptation is too great. But thanks for the suggestion. Stretch |
