I think I've got the hang of this now. This is a pic of my M2 last summer on hiway 12 between Lytton and Lillooet in B.C. Fantastic road for motorcycles!

On our way home to Edmonton, after the "Sportbike West" ralley last summer we left Vernon and went east on hiway 6 and crossed Lower Arrow Lake on the Needles ferry. From there we headed for New Denver and then got onto hiway 31A to Balfour. There we got on the ferry that goes south the length of Kooteney Lake and got off at Creston. Then we headed east and stopped for the night at Rogers Pass. It was a magical day, perfect weather and good riding buddies to share the road with! Here's a pic of our bikes on the ferry at Kooteney Lake.

Court, You will never believe where I am right now...Munich for the IMOT show (www.imot.de) and also a Harley-biker style show (www.good-vibrations.info). Sunday before I head back to Berlin I will check out the BMW Museum as well. Here's the topper! Guess what my ride is? For 30 Euro's extra over the price of the Fiat that was reserved by my employer (for a period of 3 days that translates to 10 Euro's a day!) I got a Mercedes-Benz. Who'da thunk it, me in a Mercedes Benz flying low on the Autobahn? The speedo goes up to 260 KPH, but since I was tired and the temps were right around freezing I 'only' got it up to 200 KPH. Hopefully I will have better luck going home on Sunday to truly test the machine. The last rental I had while in Berlin was an Alfa Romeo (speedo went up to 230 KPH, but got winded at 210 KPH). If there is anything cool Buell related I will do my best to post the pics, but I will have to get the film developed (while I am in Germany) and them take digital pictures of them. L8R, 1313 |

>>>>I got a Mercedes-Benz. Who'da thunk it, me in a Mercedes Benz flying low on the Autobahn? Sadam Hussein has just been displaced as the greatest potential threat to world order. Please, please, please . . post here the moment you get back in the USA so I may, once again, sleep in peace. Be safe my hypermilage pal, Court |

Spiderman, yeah that a National Cycle shield that I add in front of the stock Buell flyscreen on long trips to reduce wind fatique. We usually average 130-140 kph and it gets tiring without the extra wind protection. The air flow is very smooth and it very stable even at 200 plus kph. This is the best picture I have with it installed. It can be installed or removed in about 10 minutes. |

Spiderman, here's another pic taken on hiway 12 near Lillooet B.C. last June. Looking at these pics again almost makes the -28 degree weather outside bearable.

I know these aren't Buell shots, but Las Vegas H-D wouldn't rent me Buell. Rented this Sporster Sport and rode out to Hoover Dam. They have canceled tours down into the dan since 9-11. |

Spiderman, they don't rent Buell's because they say riders abuse them too much. I can't imagine that!!!! p/s-a Sportster Sport is not very sporty! The sign says "Lake Mead National Recreation Area" if you can't make it out. |

I posted a message with the pic but it didn't go through. I just stated that I'm new to this site and thought I would share some pics of my bike with other buell riders who appreciate a quality bike. I started this bike in September of 2001 and finished in August of 2002 after a few setbacks. I listed most of the details in my profile if you wanted to check it out. I'm also going to post a few more pics after this as well. Enjoy. |
