i put an open airbox in my xb12r( buell race kit mounted) . now the bike run faster than ever but when the engine its cold it make some problem to to drive at low speed. the car repair guy where i work , a vw porsche dealer made the co ceck and told me the mixture ( air fuel ) its a little bit rich. i show you the numbers , somebody can help me to read this ? C0 = 0.10 CO c = 0.21 HC = 380 O2 = 13.50 LAMDA = 2.089 ( I DON'T KNOW THE ENGLISH NAME , ITS THE SENSOR IN THE FIRST PART OF THE REAR CYLINDER HEADER) thanks you all. Alessio |

Assuming: C0 = 0.10 %vol CO c = 0.21 %vol HC = 380 ppm O2 = 13.50 %vol LAMDA = 2.089 (if lambda is the equivalence ratio then it would be less than one for a rich mix) To me, given the assumed units, this actually looks like a lean mix. Very low COx and high O2 coming out... then if Lambda is actually equivalence ratio it points to a very lean condition, but it's value is too high. The O2 number is really high as well. Without knowing proper units, I'm at a loss. |

lamda is the sensor that control and change the mixture during the ride . but it really seems a little bit rich not poor mixture , not overheats the color of the muffler its ok exc. exc. anyway thanks for your interest . can i adjust the air fuel ratio driving at constant rpm for ten minutes or ten miles ? i think so. |
