I know, I Know asked a hundred times. I tried a search, and I just suck at searching. Can you use rubbing alcohol for the left over sticky stuff after removing your lettering, or should i wait until i can get some Novus? Hard Corps |

Use some Honda contact cleaner. It won't hurt the surface at all. If not WD-40 will do it as well. (Message edited by bads1 on April 17, 2006) |

Or, just heat it up(hair dryer) carefully and use your thumb...follow up with a little wax...should be fine! |

How do you get the X off? Hairdryer? Seems like it will be a pain in the arse. Sorry. But thanks! |

I just did this yesterday. It was a pain in the ass and I didn't read on here so that's probably a portion why, but a heat gun would be great from the beginning so it doesn't leave nearly as much sticky crap on there. But I got some goo gone and used some "un-do" stuff I had and after about 40 minutes it was all gone and a coat of wax was put on, makes it look 10000X better! |
