Hey guys, just reaching out and saying hello! I live in Sherman north of the metroplex and bought a Buell about a month ago! I think I've talked to a few of you I believe in the xbforum not realizing y'all were from dfw area. I appreciate your insight and willingness to help out the new guy.

Anyone else this far north? Any rides planned anytime soon? I'm running out or errands to give me an excuse to ride!!

i just wanted to share something with you guys. i had a 2008 1125r and it was in the shop all the time. it was there about 115 days out of the 23 months i had it. i was constantly taking it to longhorn hd to get the electrical system worked on. well enough was enough so i did a little research and wrote the lemon law letter to HD and sent it. its stated that they had 30days to fix my bike or i would sue. well they sent a rep to meet up with me and after 3 hours i left with nothing. no bike and no loan. they paid off my loan and kept the bike. i am so happy to walk away with no more stress.

i am letting you guys know this so if you ever have a lemon, it is possible to get rid of it. i loved that bike but i feel like i never got to ride it.

07xb12ss... I'm looking for a right front brake lever, right rider foot peg, seat rails, tail piece (mine was cut by the first owner, so I can work with a modified or stock tail piece) and a clear brake light lens.
These parts are for an '07 xb12s.

Has anyone ridden Hwy 455 between Slidell FM 51 and Forestburg Hwy 677 lately?
Last time I rode it, about 3 months ago, it was worse than when they were working on it.

Kevyn, still haven't done anything with the bike. Maybe a winter project.
I rode Hwy 455 in July and its been repaved. Very good surface.

This Saturday I'll be riding to Cabela's in Ft. Worth to watch a Police Rodeo. I should be there around 10 Am and will hang out for a couple of hours. More info at spokes4hope.com

The Sat Dec 3rd, I'm riding in the Toys for Tots run in McKinney at the VFW. After the Toy run I'll head to the IMS show.

Try looking up the MC Hooligans. It's a group of Buell owners/riders in the DFW area.

I had almost started a group and then I found them. Good group of folks. But I'm always up for meeting more Buell owners.

hey all my fellow dfw area buellers. im trying to get a custom exhaust built up by rls exhaust in waxahachie but im currently stuck in colorado till sept. and we don't think we can get one fabbed up without a bike present. so i was wondering if there was anyone out there that wouldn't mind letting him borrow their bike for a day or two to get the fab work done. any help would be immensely appreciated and yeah i know it puts ya out a bike for a day or two but it opens up the buell exhaust market!! give me a call at 254-592-4199 if you're interested and i'll try to figure out some sort of compensation. cycle gear gift cards or gas gift card or something...btw i might get tickets running with no exhaust pleez help lol

So, it seems like there's no activity in DFW anymore. The mchooligans website is completely offline, the "other" buell forum doesn't have any mentions of DFW groups for more than a year, and the Facebook group "MC Hooligans"- well, that's still a possibility- if the admins of the group are still active.

p.s. Both my Blast and my 1125CR are awaiting repairs/funds currently, but they'll be back on the street ASAP!
