In August there is a ride put on by Colorado Freewheelers, it is a 1000 miles in 24hrs, my wife and I did it last year in 20hr 58 min. She navigates for me and I try not to run over anything that gets in the way. If you think you are up to it give me a shout,... it does take me a while to answer my e-mail or check this site. Anyway we plan on being in Ouray the first of September for 3 to 4 days running around Red Mountian Pass, we plan on staying in the KOA campground. Everyone keep in touch. Blackfeather..... |

Blackfeather, I would love info on the 1000 mile ride. That sounds like something I would really like. I have already done a few 400+ mile days on the xb9s. My e-mail is dblhaul@gunnison.com. Talk to you soon |

Here goes, for info on the 1000 in 24hrs check out: www.msnusers.com/rhnwebpages/1024homepage.msnw Last year we all departed at the same time but all traveled at a different pace. If you do it be careful and travel at your on pace, you will catch up and pass others on the ride. They do have towing if someone needs it. |

I don't think I am going to make it. I am probably going to the AZ torque fest so I don't think I can do 2 this year with funds and work. Thanks for asking though. If you ever want to come over to this part of the state let me know. I know some killer twisties and some long day rides over lots of passes. Just drop me an e-mail at dblhaul@gunnison.com Take care. |

Joplin, Did you make it to Chicks? How was it? John, his wife sherri(sp?), Don Castle, and I did some riding Yesterday 9/4/03 in ouray. Had a great day, only a little rain and a great BBQ. Tahnks again John, I really appreciate the hospitality. Oh by the way, my address is: T. Morgan Spradling 321 N. Taylor Gunnison, CO. 81230. Ph:970-641-3305 Yes that is an open invite for anyone on a Buell to stop by. You don't really have to be on a Buell, you just have to like motorcycles |
