Just got done putting a brand new molten orange s3 tank on my nuclear blue framed x1. Simple. Just cut the small bar out from the in between the bolt holes. Next cut out an angle for the x1 tank bracket. It took some time -- but it is nice n tight. For extra measure I put some think clear 3m tape on the tank that is in contact. Looks sweet-- and with my soft bags looks more like a street fighten s3. Pic will follow tomorrow. Wife is allready pissed. "you never spend time with me" BS. LOL |

I hear the same thing, "you never spend time or MONEY on me like that"..... Waiting on a pic. I looked into that at one time, but decided to go a different route, still might consider that swap though.... |

I think you should jam some foam in there. I fear that the vibes might eat the plastic tank. |

you might want to round the edges closest to the tank with a file and the square corners too. Sharp corners are stress risers and are fatuge points on your bracket there the radiuses can be tiny but the cutouts are best not square. clever job for sure..... |
