Gootch - you are correct about the wheel and bearing, drive side / Marchesini. I've never had the bearings replaced and I'm only doing so now because I had the wheels powder coated, and I'm only doing that because I found a used Cast-Alloy that was cheap but the wrong color; which was because I bent my previous front wheel and I was trying to fix it on the cheap - blah. I don't know if the other bearing was glued in of not, the powder coat guy said it had some glue type stuff on it and that it was hard to remove. Thank you for the info on 660. I have posted about this in the wheel section and if the product works for me I will post about it too. |

Gumby, Vik has created a new forum for SPLASH and Four-Play info -- there's a hyperlink to it near the top-left of the last "Invitation" page. FB |

Loni, Chris, what's up with the halfcast on Loni? We waited til 10:30 on Sunday for you and then went out and rode up a storm, just SPUDMAN and me. What gives? Did you drop the Scuzuki? |

Shotgun, Yep you are 100% correct! Sunday we left here around 9 a.m. to meet up with you all, got gas, and when I was turning on to the expressway the front tire slipped out from under me. Did'nt even think about the new tires, slippery BASTARDS! Knew instantly what was gonna happen. I was only doing about 25-30, did a lot of damage to the bike and myself. No blood or broken bones just bruised the left hand and right knee up real good. Soooo, if anyone knows who has spare parts let me know! I won't be able to make the ride on the 16th but we will be at the meeting on the 18th, will give you more details then. Bummed out, Loni |

Gumby, since this afternoon i see that someone on SacBORG has "opened" the "Invitation" page and we're now able to post to that thread again, plus the hyperlink i mentioned in my post above has disappeared. very curious, indeed. Loni, We are really sorry to hear the accident! Thank God your ok and not broken or leaking the substance of life. You will heal and thing can be fixed. Sometimes good can come out of the wreckage. lets see, If you were going to do this this year, you took care of it early in the year (good planning on your part). Whats the chances of doing it again (not very good) You'll learn a lot about the bike while working on putting it back together. Serious lesson on new tires. If red wasn't your color, now's your chance to change it. Buy the new SV 650S and then Chris has the track bike he's been wanting. Ya see, All is not lost! Now you have options!! I guess the only thing Deb and I can say is, Don't get discouraged, heal up and put this one in the history books as another stepping stone on the road to being a hardend veteran. Heal Fast & wrench faster. If you guy's need anything let us know. Looking for SV parts in the Rain Forest, Bob |

Loni. Sorry to hear of your get-off. Heal fast and well. If you're getting medical aid for the injuries, FOLLOW THE PHYSIO'S INSTRUCTIONS! Any problems with the knee, ping me, I've learnt more about them than I really wanted to know. |

Thanks everyone! I think I have gone threw all the emotional stuff now (mad, pissed, sad, pissed ect) . Now I just want to get the bike fixed and get back to riding. I went to the ortho doc yesterday and he does not have concerns for the knee just the hand. May be serious damage there. But it to will heal. As for the bike she needs alot! I will have to get the list from Chris and post it. Mike thanks for the call yesterday. Code Red your the hot dog of the year! Dad says you are ripping up the track. Can't wait to see you out there. I will be your biggest fan! Well if Bob lets me! Thanks agian, Loni |

Inquiring minds want to know - What is the substance of life? Do I dare ask? Is it anything like what Blastoholic was referring to? If it is tighten the gas cap! Kimberlie |
