This game is bad ass but what steered me away from the GT series is the handling of the cars. It sucked! or maybe I sucked. Anyway the only thing I would change about TT is when hitting a guard rail on the track or even a wall, the guy just bounces off and keeps going. This takes away from the who realistic concept. Second, I can never tell how fast Im actually going when I come up on a corner. I seem to get more of a feel using the cockpit camera angle. To add to the experience, I know Yamaha has a set of bike handlebars for motorcycle games on PS2. Does anybody have this right now, and how is it working out? | ||

Yeah, great contests with this game. A Buell, but I can't win since I work for HD. A Ducati, but I can't win because my brother-in-law works for Best Buy. I only have a 36" tube, but the sound system makes up for it.  | ||

HAS anyone caught another bike yet.. Man I can't catch anyone.. Spent 4 hours last night the closest I can get is -3 seconds. The buells blow me away.. this is in Tourist Trophy mode.. I have my expert license .. I am tempted to switch to Automactic shifting just to see if I can beat someone so I can get the bike.. AARRG. | ||

I know Vaneo but damn, I still can't beat any racers to get another bike other than the scooter.. I have played the entire time with manual shifting but I can't win another bike.. Have you done this yet or anyone? | ||

no I cant catch the 12 r either. Its that first turn that screws me up. The comp waits and then takes off before you complete the turn giving it about an 8 second head start. BTW Im gewtting used to the controls first then later Ill swith to the manual tranny. | ||

I passed the 12 like it was standing still in the first lap, but I was going so quick that I crashed. I also passed in another race in the second lap and held my ground for 10 seconds which won me a 12R. Funny thing was that unlike GT I was having a couple of beers and got 'er done. | ||

It took me 7-8 hrs of trying, but I caught the 12R on the second lap. It took me so long I am sick of the game now, so not sure it did me much good. I tried last night to win another bike but it was clear it was clear it would be more of the same (hrs of trying) so I gave up. Oh well fun while it lasted . . .without an online mode it burns out quick. | ||

i just went and won the cbr 600 and that has done me pretty well, i won all the 1000cc races with it, but that is still in the beginner. hehe, i am not good at this game by anymeans. but i can not for the life of me get a gold metal in the beginner lisence driving that scooter in a circle, i got the motorcycle one really easy but not the scooter one. I've got gold in all of both beginner and junior license mode - it's hard, but it's addictive and I think it really helps improve your game skills. What I've found works best for me is to manual shift, use body lean, and ride viewing the whole bike (not the dash or gages) - takes some getting used to viewing the bike (judging distance is tough), but I find it's easier when you can see the bike, your relationship to others and the track, and being able to watch you're body position. I just wanted to try the USB photo save. So I took the USB drive from the laptop, plugged into the PS2, went to the photo lab, and wallaa!:  Let's see some of your greatest shots!! This was just a practice shot, so don't rib me too bad. My favorite ride so far has to be either the race version XB12R, or any of the supersport 600 series. Nothing like pulling a wheelie all the way down the straights, slamming the front wheel down into a stoppie, then banking over hard, only to find out the game won't let you make the curve. WAM! right into the sand. | ||

i think i am still a ways off from winning a buell, but i agree that getting the licenses is good practice. i just rode the buells on the races, but i dont own one yet. i dont have a usb drive, i will have to pick one up, they have to be pretty cheap, i wonder if i can just use my ipod shuffle? that is a usb drive | ||

HMMM possible. I know that Audi was giving them(USB drive,32mg) away 2 days ago, if you request a brochure on one of their cars. If you go to ableshoppers(dotcom) they should still have the link on there. Hell the only thing I own so far is that superduper-slow-as-sludge scooter. I just hit 30% in Tourist Trophy mode. I still haven't found where the Lightning is in TT mode. I don't like racing arcade because I do not get any closer to beating the game. | ||

you can race any bike you want without any licenses in one of the modes, i forget which one it is, but i raced the 250 in one class and won that, then i went to tt mode and got as far as i could, then i got the cbr 600 and that is fast enough for the rest of the classes i think. i am getting better, just need more practice. i will just keep doing the licenses and racing the tt and will get the bikes that way i guess. | ||

I cought the 12R hee hee hee.. and after playing with the gear ratio's (Basicaly makeing it as fast as it would go) I went to the practic area and hit the high-speed ring and whooped up on the busa. LMAO this is awsome.... corse I forgot I left the speed gears up so high and hit another course ,, leaned into a corner ungodly fast and took my head off on a guard rail... LOL the bike kept going round the corner. Then the comp put me back on it and I gave the race up. The wife is gunna kill me when I play this game more than I work on dry-walling the basment... LMAO | ||

hey U4euh: Not sure if they are going to do anything or not , but the manual that comes with the game says you are not allowed to post the pics to the net with out their permission (specifically mentions homepages). To me that is retarded, why would you go through the hassel of saving the pic to usb key if you could show it off to all your friends (especially when your friends are online). | ||
