$4200. Condition 8+. 42k miles. Located in Buffalo NY. Ping through my profile. Recalls complete, including 3rd generation shock (the one that lasts). Fresh tires. Michelin Pilot Road. Includes original Solo Tail w/ Buell Race Series Seat (Gen II) and TwinTail w/ Corbin. Chin fairing is not installed at this time (I went back & forth and finally decided that Erik penned it right in it’s original form.) Mirrors are from KTM Duke. (you think Buell has parts problems?)
Thoroughly debugged and ready to ride. All the best BadWeb tips and secrets applied. Good tourer, has heated grips and a big seat. What more do ya need?
Gratuitous beauty shot.
99 swingarm. Isolators updated.
BrakeTech Iron Full Floater Rotor. (say that fast 3 times) Race Tech .95 KG/MM Fork Springs & custom fork valving. Plush and sticks.
West-Tek frame brace. Thunderstorm heads were dealer installed prior to original delivery. They have never been off since. Reliable stock spec motor. Only problems have been stator failures and Buell race exhaust cracking…
… which was fixed by installing this West-Tek full exhaust system. Force intake sits on a Mik 42 which is on the Buell Race Manifold.
Resulting in no problems here.

Hi Phatch. I did not perform the conversion so I can't give you authoritative advice. You'd be well served to call Al at American Sport Bike. He carries polished 99 swingarms at low markup and can probably tell you if any other parts are required. I believe the axle is required. As far as the rear hugger, it is from a 99 or later M2. Some people go without, but I prefer the peace of mind of keeping a potential oil puke off of the rear tire. |

and back at ya with a shipping suggestion. Warrenton MO? You have some neighbors that know this bike. Check Storm Fronts, SLAB. Good Buell roads in your area. Is the Wentzville track still active? |

One thing I won't miss about the S1, is havin that F'in John turn on my heated grips when it is 99 degrees ambient. Damn that hurt! I gotta figure out a way to back at that boy... |

Dave, Sorry I missed the bike! Small world for sure on the Missouri front, and even more so on knowing Jeff Griswold! I used to love riding those Missouri back-roads on my Ktm Duke, and look forward to getting back there soon with another decent bike. Let me know if the deal changes and good talking with you! Jeff |

Thanx Jeff and good luck getting back to Mo. Look up Racerboy on this forum if you get back to St Lou. I called Gris and he was very surprised that we connected. Small world and getting smaller. |
